Dutch police arrest a cartoonist on suspicion he may have offended Muslims with several of his cartoons including one of a Muslim at the North Pole engaging in "deviant sex". The article also reports that ealier a Moroccan born Dutch blogger was sentenced to six month community sentence after writing that active gays should be thrown from rooftops or down stairs.

Geert Wilders defends his controversial anti-Islam film Fitna asking "Where is the imam who stands up in the Netherlands and says, for us, homosexuals are entitled to equal rights ?" and arguing that "(homoophobic) attacks don’t happen in the name of Buddhism or Christianity; nor do homosexuals get beaten up, as happens daily in Amsterdam."
